Hey guys, sorry for the long wait but I kind of absolutely crashed art-wise for the past few months.  I've only just recently gotten back to like... drawing... stuff.  And I'm still gearing up to get back to writing stuff, which has been the main block for me lately.  (I don't have writer's block or anything, it's just been hard for me to put aside the time and get in the mindset for pumping out a lot of writing.)

Furthermore, I've been recently preoccupied with a visit to New York that just ended to work the Hiveworks table at Flame Con and visit my best friend.  And I'll be leaving in a couple days to go over to Atlanta to go see my sister get married!  So yeah, I've still got a bit of stuff between me and being able to devote more time back to comics.  But after that, I should be relatively uninterrupted until like... the end of November when the holiday season starts in earnest. 

So with that in mind I have obsessively meticulously routed out my comics work for the next few months, and according to my handy-dandy excel spreadsheet I should be putting out new Metacarpolis pages starting Thursday, October 11th! I know it's still a ways off, but I have a lot of writing to do.  Part of that writing is attempting to outline the last chapters of Metacarpolis. Don't worry, there's still a decent chunk left; I'm planning to outline through chapter 23 and though I hope that will take me through the end of the story... it probably won't.  Even if I'm really, really diligent, it'll probably take me up to the end of 2020 to finish drawing the series.

That being said, I do want to start spreading my uncouth tentacles into different comic projects.  Things are still kind of up in the air but right now I'm thinking of doing a sort of side-story connected to a larger project that I think would be an interesting test piece for some different things I want to do in my next comic projects.  I imagine it'll be kind of like... short, short graphic novel length? If I can be as succinct as I should be.  But that's still in planning stages.  I'm going to try to outline it this month as well to see if I'm satisfied with it.
